- My name is Miles Tebbutt, an artist living and working in Derby. With such an eclectic choice of cultural stimulation available it is hard to decide on all of my influences, yes, music, art, film, books, TV, these i suppose are a given but the experiences of life must surely play the biggest part. Let's not go into too much detail about said experiences, just look at my work. I think i'm probably a bit of a mixed up character, i'm a hippy but i'm a punk, i'm a mod but i'm a rocker, i've never enjoyed the middle of the road. Mixed feelings and ideas come out in my work and they tend to be happy and positive because i like to think that i usually am. Sometimes the dark side pokes its head through, but we've all been tempted by the dark side now and again, haven't we?
